Energy Efficient Space Heaters

Updated on March 15, 2014

An Energy Efficient Room Heater Can Help Keep You Warm This Winter

Having a space heater to help warm a room in your home is something that everyone ought to invest in. Traditionally space heaters have been expensive to run, however in this age where everyone is trying to save on their energy bills and to be "green", there are new space heaters that are more economical to run, and they are well worth looking at and investing in.

If you have a boiler/furnace or live in a complex that has it's own heating system, you might think that you don't need a space heater. However, it only takes one night when the temperatures drop below freezing and your heating goes out for you to quickly appreciate how essential these devices are in the home.

Comfort Zone® Citadel Oscillating Ceramic Tower Heater/FanCHECK PRICE

The Comfort Zone® Citadel Oscillating Ceramic Tower Heater/Fan is my personal favorite and was exactly what I was looking for. I not only like the shape and style of this space heater, I also like the fact that it oscillates through 80°, has an Adjustable thermostat, a Safety tip over switch, and you can change the heat output, as well as setting it to just blow cool air.

Space Heater Features To Look For

Not all Space Heaters have the same features. These are some of the things that you should look for when buying one.

  • Oscillating - helps to distribute the air over a wider area.

  • Thermostat Controlled - turns itself off when the room, reaches a set temperature.
